Camping Close
This trip was designed to let us get away for two nights but with Mike needing to work the Boston City Football Club match on the Saturday, to stay close to home. Or close to Malden anyway! We stayed at the Pine Camping area in Salisbury and were lucky enough to have a site that was away from the seasonal campers and very quite. Charlie was a bit out of sorts being away from Rosie and Daisy, and Mike locked the keys in the camper and we had to call a locksmith... and it hammered down rain Saturday night into Sunday... but it was still a really relaxing time. I had this realization that when we camp, we are literally surrounded by living things. The trees, the birds, the insects, the microbes in the soil - everywhere there are living things. But our 'normal' live is devoid of living things except for house plants and pets. Not sure that's a good design for humans.
